California Partnership for the Future of Learning
Our Story
The California Partnership for the Future of Learning is a statewide coalition that strives to create a transformational, racially just education system built for us all. Comprised of community organizing and advocacy groups, the alliance is led by Catalyst California, Californians for Justice, PICO California, and Public Advocates, with the support of Community Coalition and InnerCity Struggle. Together, we support policies and practices that protect and strengthen racial equity across the public education system as we center the voices of students and families of color in partnership with educators.
Our Priority Issues
As a coalition, we focus on the following policy priorities to Build Racially Just, Relationship-Centered Community Schools:
- Equitable and Full Funding
- Schools of Belonging and Inclusion
- Student and Family Power
- Student-Centered Deeper Learning
- Diverse, Prepared, Supported Educators
