At Catalyst California, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice are at the core of who we are. Since our founding in 1999, our commitment to these values is unwavering across all our work in California’s low-income communities of color. These values are central to our mission and to our impact. We know that encouraging varied perspectives helps generate better ideas to solve the complex problems of our diverse state. Externally, we partner with organizations to build power for communities of color and build on the cultural, social, and linguistic strengths of our state. Internally, we have intentionally built a diverse board of directors and staff.
